This unique offering is touted as the fastest growing community event in Saskatchewan, bringing out more than 20,000 spectators in recent years. The whole town and surrounding areas flock to Wascana Park to watch at least 100 teams race their colorful dragon boats. The volunteer-run SaskPower Regina Dragon Boat Festival takes place every Labour Day weekend and is free for spectators.
