This elaborate winter carnival, held each February, is based in Victoria Park but spreads throughout the entire downtown area with activities such as a bonfire, winter games, snow and ice sculpting, a French toffee pull and a lantern-lighting procession in the evening. The Masquerade Ball is also a local favorite.
